Crazy Blue Russian Blue Sage
Crazy Blue is one of our most popular Russian Sage with deep lavender blue flowers on silvery stems that start blooming in spring. It is a compact, well-branched cultivar that holds up to wind and rain that adapts well to most parts of the United States. Perovskia 'Crazy Blue' is small enough to use in containers and works well in mass plantings or in borders. Russian Sage prefers full sun and average to dry, well-drained soil. It is drought tolerant and suitable for coastal planting. Allow the woody stems to remain over the winter and trim back in spring after new leaves start to appear.
