Pearl White Tuberrose

Tuberose (Polianthes tuberosa) grow into tall, fragrant plants with sweet, waxy white flowers, prized in gardens and perfumes, thriving in warm, sunny spots with well-drained soil.  They bloom mid-summer, adding rich, heady scents to the garden, and are excellent as cut flowers. Their graceful stems rise proudly, adorned with delicate, tubular blossoms, presenting an array of single and double varieties. Yet, it's the sweet fragrance that truly captivates.
 
Tuberose bulbs multiply readily underground, forming clumps of smaller bulbs (bulblets) that can be divided every few years to maintain vigorous flowering and create new plants, making them great for propagation and sharing.
