Fern - Toothed Wood

$19.99Price

This fern is easy to grow and grows naturally in swamps and wet woods in full or partial shade. It grows well in organic loamy soil. It prefers moist, well-drained, acidic soil. It can be propagated by division or spores.  This fern does well in moist woodlands, especially near streams. It would be a good choice for a native plant garden or a shade garden.

  • Season:  Summer, Fall
  •  Height:  2-3 feet

GROWN AS NATURE INTENDED: We let nature decide when our plants grow and when to bloom rather than force them using any steroids or chemicals.  We leave perennials outside all year with snow, rain, blazing sun, or anything else nature decides, to ensure that you are getting a viable plant.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Each plant is carefully selected and prepared for shipping. We remove plants from their container, trim foliage to alleviate shipping stress and reduce the soil content. We care about our live plants and want them to arrive in the same condition they were as in our nursery.  Every plant root system is individually wrapped with wet paper towels around the root system before putting in a waterproof sleeve. Deciduous plant foliage is delicate and on arrival, may look dismal and wilted. Soak the roots in a container of water for a few hours to give them the opportunity to “snap out of it” before planting.

We are known for providing unusual and rare varieties of plants and constantly look for unusual and rare plants that you can't find in box stores or garden centers with my focus being on perennials. .While other nurseries and garden centers carry shrubs, berries, trees, we have the luxury of indulging my obsession with varieties of unusual flowers - ending up with several different choices for a category or variety ensuring your flower beds are outstanding and unique.
