Fern - Soft Shield Fern
Soft shield fern, is a tufted evergreen to semi-evergreen fern with lance-shaped, bi-pinnate, medium green fronds that grow in shuttlecock form to 3' tall.
The Hedge Fern or Soft Shield Ferns is a tufted evergreen in which its fronds curve outwards from the center of the plant, giving a whirlwind appearance when viewed from above.
It does best grown in part to full shade in fertile, moist, well-drained soil.
Cut down the fronds in February-March, before the new fronds emerge.
GROWN AS NATURE INTENDED: We let nature decide when our plants grow and when to bloom rather than force them using any steroids or chemicals. We leave perennials outside all year with snow, rain, blazing sun, or anything else nature decides, to ensure that you are getting a viable plant.
SHIPPING INFORMATION
Each plant is selected and prepared for shipping. Plants are removed from their container, foliage is trimmed to minimize stress during transit, and soil content is reduced. The process is designed to preserve the condition of the plants from nursery to arrival. Every plant root system is individually wrapped with wet paper towels around the root system before putting in a waterproof sleeve.
