Crocosmia - Lucifer

For a modern, festive twist on the classic, old-fashioned flower garden, consider adding the bright scarlet-red blooms of Lucifer Crocosmia. Appearing in masses upon a 2-4' tall plant, the funnel-shaped flowers are ideal for luring hummingbirds and other pollinators to the landscape.
 
Showy Lucifer looks best when planted in large groups preferably in a full-sun area though it does like a bit of shade in hotter climates. Provides bold color and textural interest to mixed borders, perennial beds and cutting gardens. Also makes a great container plant, especially nice in a mixed arrangement.
