Crocosmia 'Firestarter' Falling Stars (also called 'Firestars') is a vibrant, easy-to-grow perennial known for its fiery, star-shaped golden-yellow flowers with orange-red edges that appear on arching stems in mid-to-late summer, attracting pollinators like hummingbirds and bees. This deciduous cormous perennial blooms from midsummer into early autumn with arching, multi-flowering stems. The upward-facing starlike coral-orange blooms have red and yellow markings and a crimson center, making them excellent cut flowers for floral displays. In the garden, they attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, while the seed pods add additional interest.
